​Make a Difference as a Restorative Justice Volunteer

Restorative justice creates meaningful opportunities for healing and connection among everyone impacted by crime – victims, offenders, and community members. Through facilitated dialogue in safe, respectful environments, participants can address harm and work toward repair. Volunteers are essential to making this transformative process possible.

We're seeking dedicated individuals who believe in a more compassionate approach to justice – one that prioritizes healing and rebuilding community connections.

What You'll Do

​

As a volunteer, you'll support workshop participants in our restorative justice programs. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Helping participants navigate the healing process and rebuild social connections after an offense

• Leading or co-leading workshops, including sessions with incarcerated individuals

• Facilitating meetings while maintaining a supportive, constructive atmosphere

 

Who We're Looking For

We welcome volunteers who are:

• Compassionate listeners with a non-judgmental approach

• Committed to social justice principles

• Open-minded with strong active listening skills

• At least 21 years old

• Able to volunteer several hours weekly

• Passionate about building restorative justice practices that center human dignity

 

No previous experience in restorative justice required! Your commitment and genuine desire to help others are what matter most.
