Alain currently holds the position of Director of Chaplaincy Services in Quebec's federal correctional facilities.

He earned bachelor's degrees in both Theology and Social Work, along with specialized training in psycho-pedagogy focused in human development. His career spans more than 27 years in prison chaplaincy, during which he co-founded the Jean-Paul-Morin organization a quarter-century ago. Beyond his primary role, he actively participates in community organizations committed to social reintegration and restorative justice initiatives.
